Labor Day greeting and using our senses.

Tomorrow we get to celebrate Labor Day here in America.  For that holiday I get to have a three day weekend, with no school or work.  YEAH!  So far my schooling has been good. 

We all know our senses, touch, taste, sight, etc.  There is an old saying that goes "See no evil, Speak no evil and Hear no evil"  we might as well add, "Touch no evil and Smell no evil."  Instead we should change it around to be more positive instead of negative.  "See that is good, Speak that is good, Hear that is good, Touch that is good and Smell that is good". 

• See wholesome entertainment, good books, beauty of the Earth, good websites. 
• Speak positive words, words of love, forgiving,
• Hear uplifting music, hymns, holiday music, children laughing,
• Touch good books, holding hands,
• Smell home cooking, flowers,

This is all I could think of.  Its not a complete listing of course but enough to let you know what I'm trying to say. 

                               Have a great holiday weekend and lets uses our senses for good.

HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!

 Its been one year since I've started this blog.  I would like to post some of the comments that have been given to me over the year since I started.

     You're right: we have to be strong for our country and our families.

     I just read your post about being yourself. You made a good point, and it was very timely for me.

Thanks for being so diligent in reading my posts over this year since I started it.  I know it has a great effect on me and my ability to share some of my own experiences that I've had in my life when I was a young boy and realized that I'm not as perfect, that I have trials and mistakes like everyone else.  It has helped me to improve one of my talents of writing this blog to help my fellow brothers and sisters to look at something postive in this world.  I will continue to post more on this blog and see how it has been in the next year of June 29, 2012.
