To those who are my followers of this blog, I am grateful that you are still following this blog.  I know that I haven't added much to my postings very much.  If you want to stay as my follower that is great, if you wish to leave and not follow my blog that is fine. 

Easter the time to reflect on the Savior.

Easter is a time to reflect on the Savior Jesus Christ.  He ministered, taught, served, and died for us.  He prayed in the garden of Gethsemane while taking upon all our sins, trials, tribulations, problems, etc. that everyone that will live on the earth will be going through.  He also died that we will not be subject to death and of the grave.  That after we die we will be able to live and be resurrected.  That we will be able to see everyone that has died before we die.

 I look forward to visiting my ancestors as well as my relatives again after I die.  I look forward to visiting my one cousin, Troy Bennett, who was like a brother to me more than as a cousin.  He died a few years ago and it was a hard death for me to go through.  It took me a few months to get over his death.  I am much better now, but still miss him dearly.  Though I know that he is watching me on the other side of the veil.

This Easter, let us remember the Savior Jesus Christ and the sacrafice that he did for us so we can live again after we die and be forgiven of our sins so we can repent and have the opportunity to live with our Heavenly Father again.

We were at his Warwick Davis's table getting an autograph for my brother-in-law. We had left his table to go somewhere else, when a volunteer came up to us and said that we forgot something. We found out that Warwick loved my costume so much that he autographed a picture of his character in Harry Potter for free. He had never seen anyone go through so much effort into dressing up like his character in Harry Potter. He called my costumer "superb"!

I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The church that I associate with is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  It has gone through lots of changes since April of 2018.  The Elders and High Priests Quorum is now one quorum.  HT/VT is done away with and in its place is being told to Minister to each other.  Church service is now 2 hours instead of 3 hours with learning more gospel teaching at the home through out the week and not just on Sunday. 

There are a few other changes that have happened that I haven't talked about.  There will be more changes that goes on this year and next year. 

Church service is 2 hours on Sunday!

I remember when I was a young child going to primary during the middle of the week and being at church doing primary and than only a short time later it was changed to going to 3 hours of church service on Sunday.

January 6, 2019 was the first Sunday that church service started going for 2 hours.  I was surprised of how fast that two hours went.  It will definite getting used to and going to Sunday School and Priesthood meeting every other week instead of every Sunday.
