Expressing my love to you.

I just want to say I speak from my heart. I know that at times I over indulge in saying of how much love I have for you. I'm sorry to those who are thinking to themselves of that. Some will tell me while others won't say anything to me about it. I know that there are those who do need to hear that they are loved by someone everyday or so. That I'm an answer to their prayers to have someone say something nice to them. To show that there is still love out there in the world. It brings me joy and love within my heart to know that I'm answer to someones prayer. At times I do feel that the Satan and his followers try to persuade me to stop saying it and that no one cares what I say. That saying it just once a year should be fine. That my words falls on deaf ears and cold hearts. It makes me sad when that is the truth though I know that God is love and light. He wants his children to know that they are indeed loved. He does it by sharing it with those in your life to spread the message of love, joy and peace. It is a battle between good and evil that will continue and I will continue to do my share of sharing those who need to feel loved, by saying I LOVE YOU!

Independance Day Message.

What I am grateful for this Independence Day?
  • Freedom of Speech, Religion, Press, Right to Assemble
  • Live in America
  • Live in Utah
  • A Constitution of the United States of America
  • Bill of Rights
  • Speak about how I feel about the government and the President and not be thrown in prison.
  • Have a day off from going to work.
  • To sing patriotic songs
  • Not be a slave to a king.
  • To be able to keep the freedoms that we do have.
  • To speak the truth for what I feel in my heart and not be ashamed.
I'm sure you are grateful for the same things I have listed.  This is a country that is a blessed country and will be a free country as long as we remain righteous and keep God in our country.  I know these are the last days and things with the government is not always the best right now.  I want to remain free and live in this free country and not be under some dictator or a king.  Let us speak the truth to our government and let them know how we feel!

      God Bless America! Land of the Free and Home of the Brave!

The Articles of Faith.

When I was a young child in the church I was taught the Articles of Faith, of what we believe in, to learn what they mean about our beliefs and know how to teach them to others.  There are 13 Articles of Faith.  They came out during the time of when Joseph Smith was the prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  They are put on cards now to be given out to anyone who wants to learn more.  They are simple and basic principles about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
  1. We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
  2. We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam's transgression.
  3. We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
  4. We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
  5. We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.
  6. We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.
  7. We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.
  8. We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.
  9. We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
  10. We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.
  11. We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
  12. We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.
  13. We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
Joseph Smith

God be with you till we meet again.

This weekend was General Conference for us that are Latter-Day Saints.  Every first weekend in April and October we get to hear from our church leaders to give us council, advice, and any else they need to tell us about.  I enjoy listening to them speak to us.  I picked this hymn to share because we don't know when we will see each other again.  Especially those that are out of Utah state.  This is not the end of the postings or the blog just figured to say that I'm thinking of you and wish for the Lords comfort to you.

God be with you till we meet again;
By his counsels guide, uphold you;
With his sheep securely fold you.
God be with you till we meet again.

[Chorus]
Till we meet, till we meet,
Till we meet at Jesus’ feet,
Till we meet, till we meet,
God be with you till we meet again.

2. God be with you till we meet again;
When life’s perils thick confound you,
Put his arms unfailing round you.
God be with you till we meet again.

3. God be with you till we meet again;
Keep love’s banner floating o’er you;
Smite death’s threat’ning wave before you.
God be with you till we meet again.
