10 Year Anniversary of 9/11.

Today marks the 10 year anniversary of what happened on 9/11.  I can't believe that its been 10 years from that horrible incident.  Yesterday, Jennie and I went to visit the Memorial Park over in Sandy, UT.  They have the statue of three firefighters holding up the American flag.  Across the street they have over 3000 American flags representing the victims from the WTCs, Pentagon, and the Philadelphia.  Its just amazing and shocking of seeing how many flags represent all those people.

As I was reading some of the descriptions of some of the victims that had died I felt that I got to know them more as a person who lived just like I am.  That these were real people who had no choice and died.  To walk there felt like a cemetery.

As a nation shortly after the 9/11 attack we became united as a whole and cared for each other as brothers and sisters and not separated of race, color, sex, age, political status, etc.  and patriotism was everywhere and you could feel it.  Now that its 10 years later, some have forgotten of what happened on 9/11, we have got back to drawing lines of race, color, sex, age, political status, etc., there is some patriotism just not as much as it was then.  There is not as much American flags on display from peoples houses and business.  Yes, we are no longer the same since 9/11, but our attitude has changed back before 9/11.  Sad to say, in the next 5-10 years more people will forget what happened on 9/11/01.
